As Oddfellows adds another string to its bow with the opening of our new hotel in Manchester, the opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager who will excel at our existing Chester hotel.
The team at Chester requires a dynamic Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to continue to ensure the smooth operation of all things ‘Food & Beverage’.
You will oversee our unique secret garden bustling in all seasons, assist in the management of our restaurant and bar and also being responsible for covering the Events operation and for the right person it’ll be an exciting and rewarding challenge.
As one of the senior faces of the hotel you’ll have terrific presence and a genuine passion for the customer experience. Energetic, forward thinking and full of ideas, you’ll have confidence, initiative and a strong eye for detail that will inspire the team and improve performance across the department.
Reporting to the Hotel Manager, the role is five days over seven with hours that reflect the duties in a busy 24-hour operation. You will be responsible for the running of the full hotel when it’s your manager on duty shift on a Rota basis. A comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage, cooking techniques and service is essential, and we’re looking for sound management experience of at least one year in a quality establishment.
