We are recruiting now for a passionate Events & Occasions Co-ordinator to commence a year's fixed term contract starting early January 2017 to cover maternity leave at Oddfellows Chester.
This role will be based at Oddfellows HQ directly opposite Oddfellows Chester and will be responsible for managing and coordinating all bookings for private event spaces from enquiry stage through to arrival.
We require a revenue driven individual who must have exceptional organisational skills, a keen eye for detail with flawless guest service skills. The successful candidate will play an integral role within our business ensuring each Event, Meeting, Occasion and Wedding is executed with perfection. You will execute all show-rounds with enthusiasm and panache, paying particular attention to our guest’s requirements. Maximise the conversion from enquiry to booking, upsell at all opportunities, ensure communication flows throughout the hotel whilst delivering all function sheets and coordinating daily and weekly operations meetings.
As our ideal candidate, we ideally require previous experience within hospitality, events and administration, excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
