As Oddfellows adds another string to its bow with the opening of our new hotel in Manchester, the opportunity has arisen for a HR Assistant to make their mark on our existing Chester hotel and our new Oddfellows on the Park hotel, Greater Manchester.
This is a completely new role and it reports directly to the HR Manager & Hotel Manager at Oddfellows HQ. This is a brilliant opportunity for an individual who is passionate about people. As the HR Assistant, you shall be responsible for all things admin during our people journey. You will assist with our computerised HR system fourth hospitality and ensure all H&S administration is up to date. You will manage recruitment advertising and sifting and also deal with internal HR queries being the main HR contact. You shall ensure training is arranged including Health & Safety and manage all training literature and records. You will also assist with employee relations, hotel induction, HR stats and the management our Odd Reward & Benefits scheme. With our new hotel opening in March we will most certainly be busy! Our ideal candidate will need stamina and work well under pressure.
The role will be based in our HQ opposite Oddfellows Chester. You will need to have a clean valid driving licence to travel to Bruntwood Park on occasion.
This is a hands-on role where you can really make a mark on our hotel collection and offers exceptional opportunity to develop within HR. Ideally you will have a level 3 HR qualification or working towards. You will need to have excellent communication and organisational skills and be able to prioritise your workload.
