We need a brilliant Marketing Executive to oversee marketing activities within both hotels.
The Marketing Executive supports all offline, online brand and partnership marketing initiatives working closely with the revenue management, PR and property teams to execute an individual marketing plan for both hotels, focusing on brand voice, demand generation and high impact activities that provide ROI.
They will work closely with the senior management team on strategy, however this is very much a pro-active role that requires an individual with independence, a fastidious attention to detail, creativity and the ability to manage a fast-paced workload.
The Marketing Executive will plan and manage all social media and execute campaigns , using photography and videos. They will be focused on a continued development of video content for each property. Ideally, they will be a respectable photographer; able to take photographs for daily social media use, website and PR. They will continually drive engagement with online audiences through an innovative content calendar.
They will manage the website content , updating it regularly with offers, news and events. They will possess good copywriting skills and be able to produce interesting and accurate content . They will also produce targeted e-mail campaigns and report back to the team the effect of these marketing activities.
They will be capable of in-house design work, through InDesign and/or Photoshop with the ability to create guest facing collateral such as promotional flyers, menus, festive flyers and signage. They will also be able to manage external relationships with agencies, suppliers and stakeholders.
They will orchestrate and promote pop-up events within the hotels, such as ‘Oddfellows On The Piste’, the Chester hotel’s pop up ski bar and ‘Oddfellows goes paddling’ for summer ’17. This will include a creative eye for props, interior design and an innate ability to build momentum.
They will have worked in a marketing/advertising or communications role and preferably will be degree educated. They will possess strong project management skills with the ability to communicate and influence internal stakeholders. They will be highly practical and process driven with plenty of common sense.
Most importantly, they will possess a sparkling personality, with energy, enthusiasm and tenacity. They will be a team player with a high degree of personal loyalty and integrity.
