As the festive season sweeps through Chester, there’s one place where magic, mischief and community spirit come together in pure Oddfellows style, and this Christmas Eve, we’re inviting you to join us for something truly special at Oddfellows Chester. On 24th December 2025 from 2 pm ’til late, we’re throwing open our doors for a heart-warming and fun-filled Christmas Eve Open House Party, and yes, the whole house is your house. 

 

 

 

🍰 Alice's Parlour — Festive Afternoon Tea 

 

Step into our quirky, character-filled parlour, and treat yourself to a specially curated Festive Afternoon Tea. Perfect for families, friends or couples — cosy, charming, and full of holiday spirit. Booking is required, and a deposit secures your table. 

 

🎶 The Lounge Bar — DJ, Festive Drinks & Party Vibes 

 

From 2 pm until late, our Lounge Bar will be buzzing with festive tunes courtesy of our resident DJ, spinning a blend of holiday favourites and party vibes. Sip on festive drinks — or, for younger visitors, enjoy cheerful festive mocktails. Prefer a reserved spot? You can book a bar table and pre-order drinks for your group. 

 

🎬 Upstairs in the Grown Up Room — All-Day Mini Movie Theatre 

 

Looking for something more relaxed? Head upstairs: we’ve turned our grown-up room into a snug mini movie theatre showing classic Christmas films all day long. Get comfy in clusters of chairs around intimate tables, enjoy complimentary popcorn, and sip cocktails or other drinks delivered by table service. No booking needed — just show up, grab a seat, and let the festive calm wash over you.
