INSTITUTE OF DIRECTORS

CHESTER BRANCH
The Institute of Directors (IoD) is the UK’s long-standing professional organisation for directors, business leaders, and senior decision-makers, dedicated to promoting good governance, leadership excellence, and informed business practice across the country.

The Cheshire branch is part of the IoD North West region. It exists to support and connect the county’s directors and senior professionals by fostering a diverse, inclusive, and active community of leaders from a wide range of industries. Through regular events and gatherings, the branch provides opportunities to meet peers, share insights, and stay engaged with local and regional business life.

IoD Cheshire After Hours @ Oddfellows

One of the newest fixtures in the Cheshire calendar is IoD After Hours @ Oddfellows — a relaxed, social evening series in partnership with Oddfellows Chester. These informal gatherings bring together directors, entrepreneurs, and professionals for drinks, conversation, and open networking in a welcoming setting. The programme includes short introductions from IoD Cheshire leadership and provides space to connect with others in the local business community.
