Our Story

Our story starts with the gorgeous Georgian Oddfellows Hall in Chester. Once a town house for Lady Mary Calverley, who demolished part of the city rows to replace it with the first building in Chester to be built in the classical style in 1676.

Throughout the next couple of hundred years, the house was owned by an attorney general before being used as a school, a club, offices and as shops.

We took this beautiful building and through an award winning conversion, created a boutique hotel that is magical, whimsical and charming. Our interiors are jolly, our service is friendly and our aim is to make our guests happy.

Check out our sister hotel, the Victorian Oddfellows On The Park.
